Ok, I guess it's time to make a step-by-step guide for Hipolink, because Boosty is still having technical issues with PayPal payments.

Bank cards are still available on Boosty! If using card is okay with you, please use it and pay via Boosty as usual. Here's my step-by-step guide for Boosty (the procedure is the same, just use cards instead of PayPal option) - link

And if you prefer PayPal or it's your only option, then this guide is for you! ^^

1. What is Hipolink

At the moment most Russian artists use Hipolink for PayPal payments. It's quite easy to use, it belongs to the same company as Boosty (MY.GAMES B.V / CEBS B.V - you can see these names in the receipts). So, Hipolink is a kind of a backup site - and well, now it's just such a case

2. How to pay on Hipolink

Short version -

Use the link I'll send, choose USD, choose PayPal, enter your e-mail, get a code, enter it and you'll go to the payment page.

Step-by-step version -

First of all, I'll create a single-pay post. The price will be already set, you won't need to enter it yourself.

Then I'll send you a direct link to this post and you'll see a page like this:

I've added a cover image with my logo here, but in fact it's not necessary.

The adopt/commission png will be attached to the post (as you can see in this sample post - "art.png" on the right).

So, you click on Payment button and you'll see this page:

Select USD, PayPal option, enter your e-mail and check your post for the code - this code will allow you to proceed to the payment page.

That's it!

You'll be able to download the file after you've paid, but in case of any troubles, I can send you the image here on DA.

3. Possible problems

If you get an error, please contact me! Please don't try to send the money again, because you can accidentally pay twice!

Contact me and I'll check my account, perhaps the payment has come. If not, please send me a screenshot of the error and I'll try to ask their support team what happened.

Waiting list Commissions

1. Book a slot in the waiting list

• Just leave a message here in the comments! I'll add you to the Waiting list.

• One slot = up to 5 designs

• Wait for your turn, please!

Don't send information on your commission yet! When your turn comes, I'll message you in the Chat. If you don't answer within 48 hours, I will remove you from the list!

I can't say how much time you'll have to wait - it depends on how many people are above you on the list and how many items I should draw for them. If you don't want to wait - read about High Priority Commissions below.

2. Discuss a sketch.

• When your turn comes, send some references and details for your commission.

• I'll draw a sketch ans send it to you to discuss

• Approve the sketch or tell me what needs to be corrected.

You must provide a reference! Sorry, but I can't draw from description! I don't ask for a detailed lineart, it can be just a rough sketch or a picture from Google to illustrate your idea)

Please tell me about any changes you’d like me to make before I start colouring, because later it will be much more difficult to correct the art.

3. Send the payment

• After you’ve approved the sketch, you should send the full payment.

• I accept payments in USD on my Boosty account (you can pay with your PayPal there).

• DA points (Commission Widgets) are temporarily not available.

• In the price-list you can see general guidelines (prices depend on designs' complexity).

I can tell approximate price before starting work, but I'll be able to name the final price after the sketch is finished and edited if necessary.

4. Get the finished art

• Please, be patient! It usually takes about 2-5 days on one art (a week at the latest). If it takes longer to complete your commission for any reason, I will contact you.

• You'll get full-sized pictures with and without background and without watermarks. If necessary, I will provide glowing and non-glowing versions.

High Priority Commissions

If you don't want to wait, you can get a commission out of turn! In this case you don't have to book a slot in the Waiting list - just send me a Note and commission any item you want!

• You can commission up to 3 items for High Priority commissions.

• Getting a High Priority commission costs additional 10$ per each item! (it means you'll have to pay full cost for the design plus 10$ for getting a commission out of turn)

• The process is the same as for Waiting list commissions (references -> sketch -> payment -> finished design), except you don't have to book a slot and wait.

Important information - at the moment Boosty only accepts payments via bank cards!

If you prefer PayPal, the temporary option is Hipolink (it belongs to the same company as Boosty and it can use PayPal)

1. What is Boosty

As you may know, the Russian art community has been cut from PayPal. So we had to look for alternative payment systems and found Boosty.

It's a Russian analogue of Patreon - you can subscribe and support different artists there and you can also use it for one-time payments for adopts and commissions.

1. How to pay on Boosty

Short version - Log in, click on Donate button, choose USD, type the price and choose PayPal as your payment method.

Step-by-step version -

First of all, you'll need to log in:

Find a big orange button DONATE and click on it! Choose USD and PayPal to send the payment

Alternatively you can use Send tip option under any post (orange circle with a $ sign)

1. Possible problems

Usually there are no problems with sending money via Boosty. But sometimes there can be some troubles.

Infinite loading - Boosty support suggests clearing the cache, turning off vpn and/or adblockers or using another browser.

Errors/Something went wrong - sometimes when the sum is quite big, PayPal doesn't let you pay. In this case you can split the money in smaller parts or I will make a single-payment post which you'll buy out.

It also helps to remove your PayPal info and re-enter it again.

1. Other options and features on Boosty

Yes! You can watch me there - for free or for a monthly subscription. You can also buy a single post and get an art.

So, finally I'm ready to announce the winner!

I have to say it was a really hard choice, because all contest entries are gorgeous! Some are absolutely beautiful, some are full of interesting details, some have truly unique and original ideas.

So, after days of long consideration I decided that the winner should be this amazing teapot -

I have to tell I expected amulets, swords, staffs and so on, but a teapot was a total surprise! And just look at all these thoughtful details and ideas in its design! Such creativity!

But I must say that I love all. absolutely all contest entries! Each is unique, each is so lovely! And each is full of spring spirit!

All participants will get a special spring design for taking part in my contest. Also, I'll award DA badges to designs I like the most.

I start a contest!

It's called "Spring Flowers" and as you can guess its theme is (surprisingly ) spring and flowers.

Task: you should draw a magic item or weapon which has at least one flower in its design.

You can:

• make a traditional or digital drawing

• choose any kind of a magic item or weapon

• submit up to 3 entries

• (optionally) write a description for your item

You can't:

• use other people's arts and designs. Your entries must be your own ideas.

• submit photomanipulations, craft, 3Dmodels

Winners:

If there are less than 15 entries, I'll choose the winner myself.

If there are more than 15 entries, I'll choose several works which I like the most and make a poll to find the ultimate winner.

Prizes:

All participants will get a free-to-use design

The winner will get their design redrawn and coloured by me in my style plus one more item with a matching design of your choice (a staff, a bow, an amulet or a potion).

Deadline:

The contest will finish on 31 March

Hello, everyone! ^^ I hope you're having a great time!

I'm here with some news, updates and plans.

First of all, I've finally finished my waiting list - all commissions are done! It took me about 6 months - well, the previous waiting list took over a year, so that's some progress!

So many awesome ideas! I'm so glad you let me work on your projects! Thank you! ^^

I'm planning to open a new waiting list on 18 January, so stay tuned! I'll post a Journal when commission are open again.

And finally some bad news. For almost 2 months I've been getting messages from DA that my arts are being sold as NFTs on OpenSea site.

I reported dozens of stolen arts and wrote lots of e-mails. I didn't get replies; somearts were taken down, but then reuploaded again. At last I got a reply from OpenSea where they demanded my personal information to "make sure" that I am the artist! Their users and art-thieves could be anonymous, but somehow I have to prove that the arts were stolen - though I provided links to the arts in question.

I'm not going to give them my personal information, I don't trust this site. So all I can do is to warn you - I DON'T sell my designs as NFTs!

I don't know yet if I like/support all this NFT thing or not. Some might like it, some might hate, I'm indifferent. But my arts are adopts and commissions. People already paid to get them, so I'll never sell them twice. That would be unfair.

So, please, be aware! There are lots of stolen arts on OpenSea and they just don't care about copyright violation.
